The Australasian Natural Convection Workshop (previously the Australian Natural Convection Workshop) series was initiated in 1984 with a focus on natural and mixed convection problems in heat and mass transfer. The workshop provides a small, informal and interactive forum for academics, researchers, and students to discuss their research findings, and the direction of future research. The workshop has previously been organised by:
The number of presentations have generally been limited to 15 to 20 which have covered a mix of theoretical, numerical and experimental topics. The participants have been comprised of Australasian researchers, academics and research students, with a small number of leading researchers from overseas. However, anyone with a passionate interest in natural and mixed convection is encouraged to participate in the workshop.
